I'm seriously thinking if I should take up Economics as my 2nd major.
Had my 9am accounting tute. Boring. Then stayed in the cafetaria till 12 fine-tuning my accounting assignment before I put it all into Excel. He came. Attended Bizstats from 12-1pm. Concentrated on staying awake hehe. Asked J if he knew exactly what time Spacebar would be performing...so he gave a call to his friend to find out but couldn't get through. Then the rest of us economics students rushed down to the cafetaria for our small study group thingy with Ms. Rajamaney (pre-U studies econs lecturer). Thunderstorm, so the whole college population was stuck in the cafetaria. Aiyah, where we gonna sit? Few minutes later, we were all plonked on the floor in the Student Services Dept (SSD) and were listening intently to Rajamaney. Damn, she's good. Now I got all my Econs answers with me. Wheeeee...
2pm : We found a table in the cafetaria for me to explain the econs assigment to those who didn't come for the study group/ those who came but didn't understand. We as in Hui, William, Payal, Aishath, Sara, Aity and me. So I started rambling. He came again and hung around a bit before going back. I continued rambling. A few people came by the table and one of them pointed out how at ease I was in understanding/explaining economics. Hah. But then, she was saying the truth. Hmm...so banking and finance or economics? J forwarded the message his friend sent him, saying that he'll be performing around 12 opposite Tower Records. In the many messages that we wrote later, I asked him to come but he was tired and didn't even want to go although pestered continuosly by his own friends. Haha. Poor him. By this time I was already done with economics and had moved on to the dreaded accounting question that dealt mostly with theory only. As I couldn't concentrate on my assignment because of all the SMS' (much to the chagrin of my friends), I called him up and spoke for awhile. You don't have to bother but I'll write anyway :p The doink already reached home and I was still in college at 5.30pm!! Yeargh.
So I left coll at 6+pm with Eka and Kiki who wanted to go to Pyramid for awhile. Left Pyramid-took the Putraline-hop on the LRT-got a bus and finally reached home at 10.30pm. So no Bukit Bintang then. Becky had messaged me earlier in coll asking me to either go for drinks with Anand and Co or just have a dinner with her and Shawn. But as I was busy doing my work then, I told Becky I'd get back to her. I didn't, because my phone batt died at 5pm. Sheesh.
Had many things to blog about today...but just can't remember it...eeeeee
Yayy, my day got screwed up by an Indian guy who sat next to me in the Metrobus from Kotaraya to Sunway Pyramid. It was one of those can-you-see-my-dick episodes. Didn't give him a hoot's ass, but yea, damage already done. Walked to coll bitching bout the whole male population, only to be greeted by my friends saying that my theory on J could probably be true. Seems he didn't hang out with my friends when I wasn't there. Haha. So ok, screw the whole male population EXCEPT for J. Haha. Had a lurvely time talking to him last night. Lovely. And his msn messenger nick was cute last nite. Haha. Sheesh. But it was cute, especially since it had my name in it *winks*. Put a smile on my face the whole day. Herghhh.... I am too old to have a crush. Heart cannot take it. Cannot. Does he know? Oh I don't knowwwww...*throws hands up in the air*
At Payal's now. Been a good girl and did my assignments. Did 2/3 of my accounting assignment and my economics assignment just needs to be typed out. Wheee. Another good news I had today was seeing a banner in Bukit Bintang saying that Spacebar is gonna perform for the Merdeka celebrations there. Maybe I'll go have a look. No marnee for raves and shit. Hmm...should I ask J to come along? Haha. Most of you would tell me to ask.... *grins* But going with friends is not a crime!! :p
In the hostel now in Eka's room. There's a big fire somewhere amongst the shops down there...and if our calculations are correct, Medan is on fire!! Got the camera with me but forgot to take a pic of it. Hmm....wonder if it is Medan or not. Will check it out tomoro.
Hmmm… Becky and Shawn came by my house by 2pm on Saturday. Becky needed to charge her phone and was feeling sleepy hehe. This was my 1st time meeting Shawn (who was Becky’s online friend that she had never met). Later, Simon (Watchman) called Becky and confirmed that he was following us to Genting. So, after getting our lunch at the mamak stall, we headed to Ampang Point to get some stuff and then off to the Royal Selangor Golf Club to meet him. From there, we headed to the Kesas Highway to get to Genting but that itself was an adventure hahaha. As a result of staying on the wrong lane, Becky, Shawn and Simon (who was following us in his car) was brought on a small tour of dear old Ampang hahahaha. Then when I finally brought them to the Kesas entrance, Becky and Shawn realized that we were on the wrong side of the highway! I didn’t know which way was Genting and only brought them to the highway, but I guess it was my fault too since I didn’t ask the way hehe.
So we were off to Genting (finally!!). FYI, this is my 1st time going there. Becky sat at the back coz she wanted to catch a couple of winks during the journey but that didn’t materialize coz as she said, “I’m having too much fun with you guys.” And ooOohh, guess what we listened to during the journey – Oasis’ What’s The Story (Morning Glory) album hahaha. Shawn was going through his collection to choose what to listen to and I saw the damn album and quickly pestered him to play it! Lucky all 3 of us liked that album. My cassette version of it died on me (may it rest in peace) a year back so listening to it again was fun. All my Form 3 memories came flooding back when that album was the bomb on the music airwaves. Reminded me of Firwan’s band – Oasis SAB back then. Anyway, as we came nearer to Genting, visibility became worse because of the mist. Shawn was trying to get us to Ria Apartment safely and once, his effort of doing a U-turn for the 3492816 time wasn’t that good because we miscalculated the degree of the U-turn and nearly hit a car on the opposite side. Goodness, talk about me in Genting for the 1st time. I haven’t even reached Genting! And then, *starts to laugh* there was the lets-find-the-Ria-Apartments scene. Sheesh. There’s mist everywhere so I don’t think using the same signboards and public road lighting system as KL is appropriate (the street lights in KL light up at 7pm). I mean, the signboards should either be HUGE or blinking with lights…whatever la..maybe digitized?…and the lights should be on the whole day!! But nooo…they think we people have bionic eyes ala The 6 Million Dollar Man (wouldn’t that be fun). Somewhere in the mist, we saw the words APARTMENT RIA so wheeee :p Started to drizzle, no..correction, rain(!) and Becky couldn’t stand the cold. I tell you, she gets cramps like they were part of life or something, and I was wondering how the hell is she gonna dance later on. Met Anand – our host who kindly let us sleep in his apt with 8 other guys and 2 gals. This is Becky’s 2-week-old online friend whom she’s never met and yes, please wipethatsurpriselookoffyourface. Hehe. I know, I know. Wtf am I doing right? I didn’t even feel panicky but hey, this is a rave. Don’t ravers do this sorta thing? They don’t? Hahaha. I did. So? Me not a raver la issit? Hahaha. BLEGH. They were a nice huge bunch of peeps. All looked younger than me. But I’m bad at guessing age. So there.
Anand and Co. went to get dinner at 7+ pm and said they’ll be back by 9. Simon dropped by (he was at ..uhh.. First World Hotel). After bumming around in the apt and cursing the damn rain..AND I MISSED WATCHING SPACEBAR!!….we finally got ourselves ready when it seemed that it was gonna stop. Haha. That Shawn, cannot stop knocking on our room door and watching us get ready – he was so fascinated by the art! I guessed he didn’t have any sisters – which was true LOL. So we left and walked to First World to get a roll of film and dinner before entering the rave. Geez. Cold laaaa. I was so lost I tell you in the mall. And this Becky walks like as though she’s not guiding 3 other people behind her. One minute I see her walking in front of me, looking like as though she’s gonna continue that course for a minute or so. I look down or at my surroundings for awhile, look up….aiks, she’s gone. It’s either she detoured to the right or the left. Hahaha.
We had Pizza Hut for dinner – that hidden sausage version. I couldn’t finish my portion :p Wished I could just open my stomach and shove it all inside without having to chew. The workers were all gawking at Becky when we entered hahaha. Yeah. She’s that tall. We basically wasted the cheese sticks and Becky suggested we pack it haha. I was like, “No, you should bring it to the rave and wave them in the air like glowsticks…who knows, someone taller behind you would be hungry and get a chomp out of it when u wave them.” Hehe. And then I had to say it would be Shawn sticks (coz we asked him to pack it), which made the cheese sticks look disgusting somehow. Hahahaha. Yeah, yeah. Me and my imagination. Oh and I met Nattie and her bf, Bob on the escalator. Shit. I forgot those two raved. They are loyal customers of Backroom. Well, the old version of it la. Heard it sucks now. Of course they raved! Duhh. Nattie looked happening wit her tube and all. They are getting married next month. Can you imagine – two ravers getting married? Haha. That’ll be a rave itself. And it’s a damn Eurasian wedding. My god, the alcohol. The music. The fun. Yayy.
We were at the rave entrance later on and pestered Simon to buy his ticket. Of course we are not gonna let him come all the way up and not enter the rave! I heard my name being called and turned around to find Shirley (mistletoe) who was also waiting for Cris, which Becky was waiting for too. Guessed Shirley came with Cris. So Becky, Shawn and me entered the gate and while waiting for Simon…we saw Abe!! Hahaha. We hid behind thankgodforhisheight Shawn coz well, I didn’t want to see Abe THAT early and get banged. You think I’m mad ar? Later Simon came in and we found out that we had to go back out to get our drink coupons, so out we went again. While getting it, I heard my name again (geez..this is a rave, not Sunway College) and saw my classmate Adeline! Another fella who I forgot raved. She’s like a resident of the infamous Zouk club in Singapore and I forgot she raved. Sheesh.
So we entered. Stood near the snack counter at the back. Something like Safri Duo was playing, so my dancing mood was slowly starting. Got a Heineken. Hmm (memory failing)… Then we went back to the entrance to get Anand, who was high already. Think it was the first time I saw Abe in the rave too with his friends. Went to a different spot in the middle (Simon had left us to be with his friends), and had a nice dancing time there. I love Green Funky Dogs! Followed Becky to the toilet and saw Abe queuing too. Haha. Becky decided to say hi to him but me, who was at the back of her, didn’t know what she did so I smiled at him only to find out later that she gave him a bitchy look. Haha. How contradicting. Saw him again on the way back to our spot. Then Anand brought us out of the rave to meet his friend who brought us back into the rave to meet the whole apt gang. They were at the Bacardi Limon tent closest to the stage. Geez. The booze that was going around. We kinda went mad there. Jumping and wiggling. Haha. M-A-D. Saw a cute guy too. Haha.
Ok. This entry is getting too long and I can’t remember much but we were trying to find Josephine(Jo5) but failed. Becky, Shawn and me found ourselves in the middle part and suddenly somebody held my shoulder while dancing. Nattie!! She asked why I looked so sober and I told her I only had 1 Heineken so far, to which she grabbed Bob’s bottle and shoved it into my hands. Haha. Had to drink la. We talked for awhile. She didn’t know I raved (which actually I don’t but am starting to), and we were imagining how her wedding was gonna be. Portuguese and their drinking trait. Go figure. It’s gonna be so cun, I tell you. Yeargh. They left with Nattie telling me to be careful (I told her how I got to Genting and all) and soon, me, Becky and Shawn parked ourselves at the Heineken tent closest to the stage. Oh. I saw Abe for another 6 times already by then. Sheesh. 10,000 people and I see him. Becky didn’t. Sigh. Heard my name again and I saw this familiar face in the crowd. Tammy (Lilgail^X)!!! Wooh. She said she met Shirley and Amit (NotGuilty) too. Damn. I wanted to see Amit. Haha. Can call him ‘condoms’ in the face. Long story. Anyway, Michelle got through to me on Becky’s handphone and said she was already in the hotel room. So we couldn’t meet. Danced, danced, danced. 5 am. Shifted to the middle part right in front of the stage. Cherry Bomb didn’t quite bombed. Technical problems (they say la). I was left at the back a bit as Becky and Shawn were unseparable. Haha. Tall people what. Shorty get left out a bit la. I minded my own business *grins*. There was this Caucasian chick who looked so damn innocent in her white dress (which look more like a dinner dress) who started dancing on the stage in the middle next to me. Man. She could dance! Then I looked to my left, oh god, Abe again. Thought he was gonna pass me and head to the back but no, he came by so I waved a bit. Chatted. Haha I didn’t get banged. Actually had a conversation. Hahaha. He saw Michelle and Shirley too. Seems his friend Chew was having a nice time getting pissed drunk at the back so he hung out with Amit’s friends most of the time. Becky and Shawn surprisingly spotted us and came by. Then Abe left. Danced, danced, danced. 6.45am. The rave has ended. Did I get elevated? Kinda. Haha.
I’m getting lazy to write la. Anywayyyyy, we got our freezing butts back to the apartment to find all of the others drunk and either yapping away in the hall or sleeping. The four of us gals went to sleep immediately. Next day, Anand woke me up. 12.00pm check out time. Clock showed 12.30pm. Hahaha. Right. So we tumbled here and there and finally, we left the place for Coffee Bean to pick up Josephine and her bf, Chin before heading off to Maxim restaurant for brunch with Anand and Co. Ten bucks! Sheesh. Bid farewell to the others and soon…Becky, Shawn and me were off to KL!! Wheeee (notice my summarizing getting better and better).
Hah. La dee daa. And I’m home. Cannotla. Brain not working. Can’t even get excited enough to tell you ALL about my new terrapin. I’ll do that tomoro. Bleh. Must! Oh and I wished Radit or some other guy/girl came. For protection and dancing reasons. As I said, the tall people sure dance with themselves. Hahaha. Damn. I need to get someone my height.
I'm finally feeling sleepy after all that assignment shit bizness, so I don't think I can blog tonite. Maybe tomoro if I get up early before Shawn and Becky comes to fetch me, perhaps. If you wanna know what's up with the Genting plan, kindly redirect yourself to here. Yeah it took the wind from me a little, but I guess it'll be fun? Would get to know heaps of other peeps, hey who knows... they might be my rave friends in the future? Thanks to Anand for the room. Be hoping to see you there. And Shawn for the car and driving experience. Haha. And yea, Radit for all the advice he's given me ever since he had to cancel his plans of driving us up there in the first place. Guilty conscience coming in eh? Hehe. Anyways, I'm pooped. I go first, k?
There will be no blog entries till the hour of 5pm has past and the owner of this blog has rested her poor brain cells after undergoing an excrutiating 72 hour period filled with nothing but work in regards of assigment-completion.
P/S: Yes. I am truly dying. And deprived of sleep.
/me walks over to the dining table and powers the laptop
/me types...
"Realizing that Malacca may rival their new settlement in Penang once handed back to the Dutch, the British diverted the trade from Malacca to Penang, destroyed the Malacca Fort and the city while moving the 15,000 people to Penang in order to destroy its influence. The destruction of the Fort was imperative to any British attack on Malacca in the future..."
Oh and Abe, a big BLEGH to you. I'm still going. Haha.
All the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle came together yesterday. Sarah couldn't join me and Becky to Genting, but she did offer to lend me her car (without me asking! Love her!). Weird, I've like only spoken to her (who was a junior of mine in highschool) ..what? twice? in the whole year. And she offers me her car. Man, whoever said mixing around with your juniors in school was s-a-d was totally wrong. It ain't! :p
But me cannot drive. So there. Back to square 1. No transport. Hrrmpph. Complained bout it out loud at my table in the cafetaria, and Radit who was with us went "Why don't you get someone who lives close to you...well..not that close la, but still in Ampang..to drive you to and from the rave?" Ahaks. Just as I was about to say that no one else stays close to me, I realised he was referring to himself because he lives not so nearby! "Are you talking bout yourself?" And this big grin came from him. Hahaha. All this while he wasn't sure if he was going or not, coz you see, he can go to the rave for free because he's on the guestlist of one of the performers. But he has no transport to go with because his car has DC (embassy) plates, and his dad has set strict rules that the car must be home by 12am. I did asked him to follow us if Sarah was driving, but he wasn't sure. Now this. Ahaks. But he said I should get the ticket 1st, then confirm with him. Haha. Coz then its guaranteed I'm going. And you know what? Becky, Sarah and Radit don't know each other. If we all went, I would be the only link in the car. Haha.
Transport done. Just need a place to bunk/rest our feet/bathe in case we get too tired. Radit has a place, but only he can enter, coz they follow the guestlist. Bah. Nevermind. But then later on in the day, Becky tells me that her friend Cris has got a room, and we are invited to come by when we want to *does a cheer*. Everything is suddenly going our way, in more ways than one *winks to all my friends*.
BUTTTTT
I'm going there to party. The other stuff can wait. Hehehe. You know if you know.
Becky, Radit says he still has to ask his dad but should be able to come *slaps forehead*. I need to get friends who are of my age. No permission needed hehe.

My god what a day I had. I'm too lazy to write it ALL out in here, so just read about it here. Haha, get the popcorn ready people.
I should have done this yesterday. Would've gone quite well with my blog :)
There’s a small preview of the movie The Road To Perdition on TV. JUDE LAW!! :p
Farewell, Joyce Summers.
I came back just in time to catch Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Today was important. Today, Buffy’s mother, Joyce Summers, passes away, right at the very beginning. She had an aneurysm. To many, especially Buffy haters, this particular episode might be deemed as boring, because the director opted for a slow-mo kinda action instead. Also, the scenes were sometimes silent, where only the actions and reactions of the actors were the true ‘action’ around. Just as we think that Buffy is like us, mere humans, the director brings us back to Buffy-land and reminds us that she is the Slayer – while performing CPR on Joyce, Buffy accidentally breaks Joyce’s ribcage ( I think ) because she has supernatural strength. Seeing Willow deciding what to wear to the morgue was cute, but in a sad way. What do you wear to the morgue? Deep colours shows more depression whereas bright would be rude. And for the first time, Anya was human once again. Her lack of understanding of the situation only made the others angry, because Anya always says things in a too-direct manner with the wrong use of words. “Will we get to see the body? Will they cut up the body??” And when Willoe finally tells her to shut up, we see Anya crumble as she confesses that she doesn’t get it, get death. I watched in awe as Anya explain that she was eating fruit punch when the news came, and how she couldn’t understand why Joyce couldn’t eat anymore fruit punch, do this and do that anymore. You just gotta see it to understand me. It all came in a whoosh, and from Anya (!). The later scenes were not as outstanding as the ones in the first half hour. So there. This is my farewell to Joyce Summers, mother of the Slayer and The Key.
I’ve read the summaries of each episode for this season, so I knew what was gonna happen. But seeing is still a whole different experience. Wait for next week, as Dawn tries to grasp the fact that Joyce is gone.
That was 1 whole hour of peacefulness for me. Then, my mother comes back and sees the house in a mess. I had come back at 8, just in time for Buffy, and saw how the house was. My brothers did nothing. Nothing. I hadn’t had dinner and my lunch was a measly slice of vegetarian pizza from the cafetaria in coll, of which I gulped down in less than 5 mins so that I could enter the lecture hall for Econs. Had classes from 12- 5 straight. Came back by bus which took 2 hours. Seeing the clothes strewn all over the sofa, waiting to be folded, the plates and cups in the sink, waiting to be washed – I didn’t have the slightest mood to clean up. And whaddaya think mum does? Nag at me la. She just went through 9 hours of working in a restaurant, so seeing the mess wasn’t what she wanted. Me too. What do I do? Fold the clothes while she cleans up the sink noisily. Then I go upstairs and lie on my bed amongst my teddy bears. Thought comes through – Wish time could stop for awhile like in Buffy. So that I can take really nice deep breaths and compose myself. Mom was never good in reading my face. Not in Form 6 when I knew I was in deep shit for playing around too much. She only knew how bad it was when I got my results slip. Too late. Now I’m just mentally tired with all my assignments. When I went through the same thing in Form 6, only one place could soothe me. KLCC park. Heh. Don’t laugh. I’d go and sit at the back part, where there’s benches for joggers, and look at the skyline which was peaceful in the evenings. There were others like me too there *smiles slowly*. Think I’ll go do that tomorrow after my meet up with Becky and Abe.
Which Rugrat Are You? You nearly have an almost identical pesonality to your
sister/brother. You love eating worms (or other digusting things) and arguing with your
siblings!
Got a sms from Fitri. She misses me and asked if I have classes tomoro. I do, though from 12-5. So we are meeting up in the cafetaria at 11 *smiles*. It's like as though she read my previous entry hehe. Though I doubt it. Anyhoo, it'll be fun meeting my 'daughter' again. Ever since she went to Victoria University of Technology (VUT), I don't see her much in coll. I bet a big hug is coming my way too. Haha :p
Get this. I can't download the Excel file for my BizStats assignment from the WebCT server, becoz I'm on IE and they dont know how to configure the settings to make it do-able. Then I see my former MUFY classmate, Yean Ee, online from the Monash Gippsland campus and after a few minutes of chat, realized that she's also doing Econs and BizStats with me. So what do I do? Haha. I get the file from her la. Haha. She doesn't get the subject, so after I'm done with my stewwpidd Malaysian Studies, I'll have a look at it and then explain to her online later tonite.
Was just talking to Janice and Yean Ee in Singapore and Australia respectively through MSN Messenger. Ahaha, Yean Ee is turning into a bad person. She just skipped both her lecture and tutorial classes for Information Systems. Said she can't get it (yea, there's alot of things we don't get in Monash) ...hmm.. can't help her in that department. Oh and I've shoved the Management topic out of my head for the moment. It just worries me too much.
The only thing I'm looking forward to is meeting up with Fitri tomoro, and listening to Frou Frou - Breathe In.mp3 when its done. Yes, I'm finally getting it.
No wonder I was feeling shitty the other day. Best Friend came the next day. Damn. Felt bloated the whole damn day, not to mention my craving for chocolate(!!). I skipped both my Accounting and Management tutorials today becoz my mood was as screwed up as twisted knickers of a gal who's being kissed by her crush. What the hell am I talking? No idea whatsoever. Blehhhh.
And yes, I'm still in blur-land with my Management assignment. It's not so much as doing the blady assignment, but rather in reading the excerpts from the 4 books (I mentioned this in an ealier entry). There's like..uhh..90-100 pages and I'm on page 5. Wheeee. Don't have any classes tomoro, but then I got to do the Malaysian Studies assignment, becoz that one is due on Monday. Management and BizStats due on the 23rd. Econs and Accounting ( both are easy!!) meanwhile are due on the 2nd of Sept. Bah. Have to start and finish off steewwpid Malaysian Studies tomoro. Dang.
I got no mood. And I'm so tired. Mentally. Can't even panic properly. Sigh. Would be nice if I could cuddle up to someone and just complain about all this nonsense without being nagged to. Or adviced to. I hate it when I complain about my assignments, and people would go "Oh, don't worry, there's like a week more..you have enough time," and all that shit. I just want to cuddle fullstop. MmmMmmm.
what movie symbolism are you? find out!

Ok. Seriously, I'm so lost in my Management notes about Taylor, Fayol and Mintzberg - the three theorists on the science that is Management. Die die die. Malaysian Studies is driving me up the wall, coz I'm so lazy to do it. All I'm interested in doing is my Accounting assignment - which looks damn easy, but it's only due on the 2nd of Sept! Ergh.
This is how stressed I may look on the outside - Abe sat near me in the cafetaria today, but didn't get a hoot from him at all. I thought he was pissed with me about, well, blogging about him the other day (ahaha, and yea, I am blogging bout him now too) but he called just now and according to him, I looked like as though I was having my exams *laughs*, reading my notes and all. Sheesh. I look that bad??
Becky, see... 2nd time I got a Michelle Branch result. HAH! And Gap is soooo me, I tell ya.
Feeling a bit shitty. Hmmm. Might as well go to coll early tomoro and bury my head in books to do my assignments and not talk to anyone till it's 2pm and time for Accounting lecture. Or sit in the Monash labs and freeze my ass off? Becky said Abe was online in ICQ. Lucky he didn't messaged me and start banging me. Coz I got no mood. Abe, if you do read my crap (as Becky vehemantly says), thanks yea...for not kacauing me tonite. Heh.

Well, the dinner with Ain yesterday didn't happen. Why? It went like this: Me still in Sunway at 8pm. Me call Ain to ask if she can pick me up at KLCC, then go off to eat. Ain heard Eka screaming in the background, asking me to eat dinner with her in Sunway instead. Ain kindly said nevermind, we have lunch tomorrow (today). So yeah, I had dinner with not only Eka, but with Kenny, Kiki and Johan too at BB Thai in Pyramid. My God, the way Kenny banged Kiki during dinner was so funny and oh, you should have seen the three guys bang Eka while waiting for her to finish her food. *starts laughing* Eka puts a piece of beef in her mouth, chewchewyoudontwanttoknowhowlongitgoeschewchew then swallows. Ahahahaha. I nearly choked myself laughing. Sheesh.
So that was that. Later on in the Putraline, I got a message from Hoe Fong asking me to go shopping with her tomorrow(today). Ahahaha. My plan for today was NOT to go out. But already, that plan has been disrupted with Ain's lunch thingy. Now this ahahha. Tempting. But I got loads of assignments. *Braves myself* "No, HF, I can't go. Got assignments" One cheer for Celeste
Today, me go through the infamous KLCC Sunday crowd. Ain gave me a woke up call at 12pm (muahaha) and we were in KLCC by 1.15pm. Lunch time=food places=full=so we walk around first. Hehehe. Walkwalkwalk...I became hungry (haven't had breakfast). So got myself a pretzel and walkwalkwalk some more. H-U-N-G-R-Y. Off to Burger King. Oh my God. You'd think my feet would be hurting from walking around. NOT!! It hurts from standing in the queue in BK *lol*. Sheeeesh. And the escalators were ALWAYS packed to the brim, giving one the notion that maybe you'd get a dollar everytime you went on it, so that's why its packed. Ahahaha.
Getting mad waiting for the release of Coldplay's new album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, this 26th of August. Eeeeeeeeeeeeee.
In the hostel now - Eka's room. Bowling session didn't materialise coz they were gonna have a tournament later on. Cheh. So we went shopping - uhh, no, THEY went shopping, as in Eka and Aishath. I only brought enough money to bowl and eat. Muehehe. See, Eka is walking all over the place in the apartment with her new pants on *laffs*. From Padini, it was RM80 going for 20% off. Oh I don't need to tell you how doubtful she was in buying it. She was like "Should I buy? Should I buy??" all the time. Hahaha. And now she's talking crap - saying that I should work in Padini so that I can get the uniform for free, which are Padini clothes. The pants she bought was similar to the one worn by the employees. Mad. M-A-D
Oohh, I guess I should leave Sunway now. Got a dinner thingy with my old classmate Ain somewhere. Ahahaha. She'll pick me up at my house and then we'll decide where to eat. I'm game for a few packets of the Marvellous Nasi Lemak behind my house. Oh when am I gonna enter the hostel?? Eka just sent a few MB of files to Cindy (housemate) to be burned into CDs in less than 3 secs!! It would take 2-5 minutes on a 56K line!! Eesh. Alright. Gotta leave. Taaaaa.
Hmm...had a nice slow Friday. Reached coll 10 minutes early for the Biz Stats lecture (its a record!! :p). For once, all of us sat in one row ahaha. Sara, Isil, Aishath, Payal and me. Then Eka came and squeezed into the bench (there were other ppl too in the same row) coz she wanted to sit next to me to learn Biz Stats. FYI, I'm the only one who is tutored by our lecturer, Ms Waheeda Yasmin, and though my 1st impression of her was bad, she's better in tutorials. She really helps you to understand all the concepts. Hehe. Yeah, I know, I'm so goddamn lucky. Muehehehe. Later, I was damn hungry so we headed to Medan (a foodcourt nearby). There, our topic of conversation varied from how to make sambal belacan to how Bill Gates and media mogul Ted Turner use their unwanted millions. Yes I had sambal belacan today!! Wheeee.
As Sara, Eka and Aishath had an hour to kill before their Biz Stats lab, we decided to play a couple rounds of pool in the Monash Student Lounge. Finally, we managed to get the proper pool table (there's one slightly smaller) and played till we couldn't play no more. Oh hell, MTV was on the tv, and 1st video I see, is that Truth Hurts song. Negro gals gelekking to hindi music. 2nd video I see, Bombay Dreams. Mat Salleh gals gelekking to hindi music. 3rd video I see, Basement Jaxx. Proper indian gals gelekking to proper hindi music. Guess which one I liked?? But Truth Hurts kinda rocks my ears. The rhythm. Which reminds me, I still haven't downloaded that Frou Frou song - Breathe In!! EEEeeeeeeeee....I've been liking that song for so long already, and Winmx can't give me a single user who has it. Dang. Got my Res - uhh..something something Vision.mp3. Nice. Ack, and need to get that Elvis Vs. Jxl - A Little Less Conversation song!!
The others have gone to their Biz Stats lab and I'm in the computer lab with the intent of printing out my lecture notes after this. Then. Baliikkkk Kampung, oh oh oh Baliikkk Kampung..( go back home...oh oh oh go back home). Feel like wanna drop by BB to get that Tropicana Life sling bag which I forgot *slaps forehead* to buy when I went shopping last Sunday. But then, *checks wallet* no marnee. Hrrmmmmpphhhsss. Oh and this Becky is asking me to go to the Genting rave with her. Anyone else? Cousins included. Hehe. Staying there would be cheaper I guess.
Listening to : The sound of other people typing at high speeds around me...and the occasional 'OH OH' sound from ICQ Lite.
Time : 9.50pm Ahh relaxing at home. Even though I finish at 1pm on Fridays, I always hang around in coll till late hehe. Left Sunway at 6.30pm and reached KL at 7pm. It just drizzled there I guess, coz the roads were slightly wet. Suddenly a stroll down Petaling Street seemed like a nice idea. So went la. Yearghhh the smell of food!! No $$ to buy some Sweet Pork (whatever you guys call it), but I found this guy who sold Ma Chee.... I just looooooveeeeee Ma Chee. MmmMMMmmmm. Not as good as the old fella who used to sell it behind the biscuit+snack stall, but it was Ma Chee all the same. Haih. Petaling St don't look the same anymore, what with all those fancy looking restaurants all popping up (to cater to the Caucasians). My poster stall ain't there anymore, too. :(
Listening to : Elvis Vs. JXL - A Little Less Conversation<----yes, I got it!!
Got myself a Flooble. But don't know how to put it in here. Want to use that extra space on the right. Hmmm...but for some reason, I can't look at my codes tonite and know what's what. You know, like in the movie The Matrix, when they look at the green codes running down the screen and know which is a blonde lady walking by etc. I'm like Neo now, when he 1st saw the codes. Darn. It's this mysterious toothache I guess. Keeps bugging me. Already popped a panadol, think I need to pop one more before I sleep.
Oh hey, I messed around with my codes and I suddenly got the drop-down menu where I wanted it in the beginning! Oh hell, how did I do that?? *scratches head*
Have no classes today and the weather is nice and cooling because of the rain earlier. Mmmmm. Ahh, but I remembered why I made it so that I have my Wednesdays off. To do my assignments! Sigh.
Assignment 1 : Managing People and Organisations to be passed up on the 23rd of August.
For this, I have to read excerpts from 4 books. Of which I haven’t gotten my hands on. And then I have to evaluate a particular case study of a manager.
Assignment 2 : steewwpid Malaysian Studies to be passed up on the 19th.
Uhh…I don’t remember what was this about. Blehhhh…
The others, namely Microecons (bah, this should be easy), Accounting and Business Statistics aren’t worrying me for the moment. My head is just filled with Management stuff. I’m worried I won’t get it, the evaluation and all. Never done this sort of subject before. Sigh. Worry, worry. Need to do well coz I’m thinking of shooting for that scholarship again, seeing how I narrowly missed it in Pre-U. Man, I still can’t believe I was that close.
Bored bored bored.
Listening to : My Roxette – Tourism album.
I see her comb her hair
And give me that grin
She’s making me spin now, spinning within
Before I melt like snow
I say hello, how do you do …
Gah. Had the worst possible (not to mention unexpectable) start-of-the-day today. Left the house at 7am for my 9am Microecons tutorial. If everything went smoothly, I would be blady early for class. Oh but fate dealt a cruel hand for me today *looks up and makes a face to the heavens*. Reached Ampang Park Putra Lrt Station at 7.40am, which was within the acceptable time parameters. Bought my ticket and all, then headed downstairs to the trains. My…what a crowd. Now this is strange *looks at watch*. Ok something’s definitely wrong here….look around, Celeste, for some clues. Ahh, the digital signboard. *Read. Read. Read* OH FUCK!!!
Due to a technical problem which couldn’t be avoided, trains may be delayed. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Fuck the blady duck. Why does it have to happen today?? *Tries to calm down* Ok so maybe it’ll be a few minutes late. I’m still early. So no worries. Yeahhhh righttttttt.
Time : 7.55am I’m still looking at a reflection of myself in the glass door panels of the station (you know, the ones which separates platform from train). Girl next to me receives a call. “Hello,...What? You are still at Setiawangsa St.?” My mind goes blur as that statement sank in. It takes about 20 minutes from Setiawangsa to Ampang Park. I’m gonna be fucking stuck here for another 20 minutes??! Eh, harlo.. I’m not within the acceptable time parameters no more ok? MCH. Not to mention the dumbass of a headache that just started to go *dum-dum-dum* in my head from looking at the swelling crowd around me. All working adults. Must’ve been looking at me, a college girl, and thinking why am I so stressed bout this so called ‘may be’ delay when they are gonna be late for work. Comela, wear my shoes, and attend my Microecons tute. Then see whether you all go stressed or not. Cibai. S-T-R-E-S-S.
Time : 8.20am FIRST TRAIN IS HERE. Then this happens. Doors open. Doors close. Mestillinfuckingstation. If I had a bulb above my head as an indicator of my emotions, it would have caused a few injuries to those around me. Flying glass.
Time : Fuck the time, I’m gonna be soooo late even if I get a taxi from Kelana Jaya. SECOND TRAIN ARRIVES. Heh. Perfect example of déjà vu. Perfect sial. To the dot. *Holds up a signboard which says FUCK THIS SHIT* Wished I brought my brother’s Slipknot album with me so that I can listen to some good-ass music as my mind began to adapt to the art of swearing at 8 plus in the morning. Yeaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh.
Time : 8:40am THIRD TRAIN IS HERE. I must’ve squeezed my ass so hard to get in I bet it’s all nice and firm now. Right. 30 minutes in standing position, 10 minutes in sitting position. Oh and all the while that I was standing, I was shoving aside the question as to how many guys were getting themselves all nicely fucking aroused by the close shitty proximity between the sexes. Grrrr..
Time : 9.35am Finally, I reached college. For any other tute, I would have still attended the class. But not Microecons. This would only be the 2nd class, but I already have an inkling as to how my tutor is. She’s this A-Levelsbitchofagraduate who’s so hyper at 9 blady AM in the morning that I’ve given her a nickname – Energizer Bunny. Yeah man. She can’t shut her trap and flaps her hands here and there. And she expects us to be noisy and debative at that unholy-studying-hour too! As we have to sit in the front 2 rows, the effect of Ms. Energizer Bunny is like experiencing a tsunami *wooooshhh*. Oh and she HATES latecomers. I was 10 minutes late last week, and she firmly nailed that statement into my head by further saying that if we are more than 10 minutes late, we might as well not come coz she’ll pick on us during the remainder of the lesson. Likw wtf? This was also my reaction when Benjamin, who I met outside the side gate, asked if I was going to attend class. I explained to him how she was, and my LRT experience with so much swear words add-ons that he couldn’t stop laughing. Celeste – swearing this much before 10am. It must’ve been really BAD. “Oh you can bet your fucking ass on that crappy deepshit statement that it was THAT bad,” as I gave him a grin. FYI, I don’t swear much. Rare thing to happen. And LRTs don’t go MIA on you for an hour too! Blady fucking cibai hell punyer PUTRA. The only day that I have to go to college at 9am. Va te faire foutre! (Fuck you in French, however it’s fucking spelt).
Sara came after class finished and told me what happened with a face that showed signs of insanity looming around. *Laughs my head off* How blady interesting. Seems Ms. Energizer Bunny has done nothing but incur the wrath of Sara here by saying her actually-IMHO-partly-correct answers were all wrong. Oh and another A-Levels graduate has entered our class *whooopiiieee*. Gah. Another possible pet student for Ms. Energizer Bunny. Nevermind. Next week, this MUFY graduate will exercise her vocal chords a bit in class. Make my old Econs lecturer proud of me. Heh.
You’re Michelle Branch! You’re the ‘girl nextdoor’ type of gal. You’ve got a down-to-earth feel about you, and you’re not afraid to be original. You’re still trying to find yourplace in life, but that doesn’t mean you’re not enjoying the trip. Rich and famous? Sure! But you’re not gonna let that go to your head. ;D
*giggles* I just went quiz-crazy for awhile there. Hmm..don't think Blogger.com likes a lot of pics in blogspot accounts. Before I put in these pictures, I could see all the banner pics at the side there. Now I can't :( So I've taken the banner links out. A lot of words in my blog ain't that bad. :p
The plan was to meet up in KLCC at 12pm. But what transpired was this – Me arriving there at 12.10pm, lepaked in Body Shop (the designated waiting hall) and saw no one till 12.30pm, then saw Hoe Fong’s face somewhere in the crowd with Kapila and Jaan Kit. They came earlier and as Jaan Kit wanted to check out the nearby U2 sale, they popped by the place for awhile. Julina was still MIA. So, me and the others checked out U2 and G2000 while waiting for her. Then, close to 1pm, at last she arrived and fuiyo, she has changed babe. No more frizzy curly hair and a few kgs were lost. Hehehe. Kapila (who’s studying in the US of A) had opted for the bald look which I didn’t like. Missed his hair. Jaan Kit looked slimmer, but still the old Jaan Kit though he’s like a happening person in behind the scenes of the advertising line. He was the coordinator for the KFC chicken popcorn advert on TV. There were other adverts, but can’t remember. :p
After much thought, and also taking into account that we were all hungry humans at that moment, we decided to eat at Madame Kwan’s. None of us have ever been there so whoopiee. :p Instead of eating an individual meal, we decided to eat rice and lauk (dishes). I don’t really know how to explain it so shoot me. Hoe Fong picked Hong Kong Kailan plain fried with ginger, Julina picked the Sweet n’ Sour Chicken, Kapila picked the Japanese Beancurd with Seafood while I picked the Stir Fried Sotong (squid). The food came, and wasn’t it small. :p Okayyyy..so we made do with what we got, all the while shoving aside the fact that THIS was an expensive lunch. As some of us haven’t seen each other for 4 years now (ever since high school finished), the art of updating ourselves on each other’s life events was done in the usual way – accompanied with cackles of laughter and a slice of gossip. Hehehe.
After lunch, we gals said goodbye to Jaan Kit and Kapila as they had to go back. Then..ahem..it was time to contribute to the economy. Muehehehe. I can’t really remember where we went or what we did first, except for the Isetan part where we 3 splitted up and got a top each hehe, but to cut the story short, we were nearly konked in the end. Julina couldn’t get her Vincci shoes in the end coz she left it on the counter too long (she had doubts)…and so, she left KLCC quite pissed I guess hehe. After all that trouble of walking through the infamous KLCC Sunday crowd, she only got herself a top, and an expensive lunch. Hahaha.
Right. Then it was off to Bukit Bintang (BB) for me and Hoe Fong. Yes, my dears, the shopping extravaganza hasn’t quite finished as yet.
Oh fuck this entry. In trying to write this, I have had to quit IRC so that I wouldn’t be disturbed by blinking and beeping windows whenever someone says my name. That was ok. Then K comes online and starts chatting with me in ICQ, so in being courteous, I replied him for awhile and then told him to wait for a few minutes as I continued to blog. What does he say to that?? You shove me aside for your lil meandearing of posting your miserable day on the world wide web where possibly NO ONE bothers reading?? I can take sarcasm directly thrown in my face. But this, ……………….. like I said, fuck this entry. Sorry guys, but the mood ain’t there anymore. Sorry.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Everytime I wanted to blog, I was either too sleepy or the sheer thought of how long the blog was gonna be got to me. Hehehe. I’ll try to keep it short.
First things first, Becky does know Maxine. Yayy. :p
Wednesday : Watched Minority Reports with Eka and Radit. Missed the beginning because we were late. Hey, it was a Wednesday and there was only one counter opened. Like hello? How dumb can you get? Later, we shopped for Payal’s birthday present, and after much thought, decided on this life-sized glow in the dark skeleton. Hehehe. Now this is funky. Then I hung out at Eka’s place in the hostel, and later, had dinner with them. My goodness, you should have seen the dinner gang. There was Eka, Cindy and me, and then we met the others downstairs – Radit, Johan, Kenny, Kiki, Imelda, Indra, Ifan and Radit’s friend. We had dinner at RSB – Restoran Sri Budaya. Mmmm. Even met Arief and a few of his friends there. Note: Hajar told me the next day that she was somewhere there too, but was shy to call me because the gang was too big. Ahahaha. In the end, I left the hostel at 10.30 with a cab ride to the Kelana Jaya LRT station. Guess what? I missed the last bus from Ampang Park to my home (it was 11.45pm). Hehehe. I called my friend Jay who lives in Kampung Pandan, and asked if he could be so kind and give me a lift home. Muehehehe. He was. Goodie good.
Thursday : I skipped the Business Stats lecture (again!) at 12pm because I was late and didn’t have the fucking mood to step into a packed lecture hall and gain the wrath of Ms. Waheeda. I hadn’t sucked up to her yet, so I don’t think it was a good time to test her waters. Then at 1pm, it was Biz Stats lab with her. Two whole hours. But she was nice. Attended to every lost soul in the lab personally. Hmmm. Later at 3pm, it was Microecons lecture. Me bored again. Sigh.
Friday : Ahahahaha. Yes. I was late again for the only class I had for today. Biz Stats lecture. 20 minutes late. What is it with me and Biz Stats?? This time, I took a huge gulp of air before I entered the lecture hall, which was dark as Ms. Waheeda was using the projector. Up the stairs I went, looking for a place amongst the dark figures. Suddenly, at the 2nd last bench, a guy sitting at the edge turned sideways to let me walk in and sit. I squinted my eyes for some clarity and saw that it was Kiki. Looked at the others in the bench and was glad to see Cindy and Radit there as well. So sat I did. And weren’t we all bored as hell ahahaha.
At 1pm, Eka and me had lunch in Medan with Kenneth, where we saw Darwin and Ifan. These guys were in a badminton phase, as a result of the upcoming tournament. Think they’re gonna play a few games this Sunday morning, I was asked along but hey, Sunday morning…me go to Sunway? Go figure. Hehe. Later on Eka and me visited our foundation course Computer Science lecturer, Mr. Suhaizal and yakked with him for a bit. Then, Eka went to her Biz Stats lab as I handed in my application for the hostel. On the way to Pyramid, Abe saw me *shoves Frostee under a kuali, seals it and sits on it*. Accompanied him for waffles and ice cream in Pyramid as he yakked bout his life. Hehehe. It was ok till he waited with me at the bus stop for my bus. Then started la, the banging. Eesh.
Today : Payal’s birthday party!! Hehehe. After printing out the brush that Michelle created for me as the birthday card, I got ready coz I didn’t know if Radit, who was to pick me up, was a person who thrives on punctuality or not. He came just as I was finishing up in getting ready. Yes, he’s a punctual person :p . The journey felt different, coz I was sitting in a Kembara bearing DC (embassy) plates. Wooh. We reached D’Tandoor Restaurant in Uptown, Damansara at 12.45pm and found Eka, Erwinne, Sara and Aishath already there. Few minutes later and the others trickled in. And then the food extravaganza started. Wooh. Colourful. Uhh..didn’t really know what I ate, umm..Papadam, Butter Chicken, Naan, Tandoori Chicken, Fried rice, Yoghurt and Ice cream. Man I had to sit up straight coz my I felt so full. Hehehe, oh yea. For once, I actually could bang Radit, who was sitting in front of me. Usually it’s Aimann who gets it from me, but he was sitting in the other half of the long table with his gf. Even Radit was like, “How come you can bang me today huh?” Ahahaha. Everytime I banged him, I protected my legs under the table with Payal’s present coz his legs were freaking long, I mean, once, I looked down, and I saw his shoes just in front of mine, and who knows, if I banged him the wrong way, he might just kicked me under the table ahahaha. Then he was like “Hey, you want to take the bus home?” Shitttttt. He’s my transport back. So I tried to shut up. Ahahaha..but the banging comments still came, though it was far and few. I had a nice time ahahaha.
We left for Payal’s house and some cake at 4pm. Four girls, namely Isil, Sara, Eka and Allison crammed it up in the back of the car. I still had to shut up. Hahaha. Shit la. So I banged about Radit to Eka who sat to the left of me at the back. I was like “Hey, you know how people always check out the occupants of DC cars on the road right? Well, now, they’d see Radit bringing 5 chicks in his car. Like fuiyo.” I turned to my right and OH-OH. He was grinning and said, “I could always leave you by the roadside you know.” Okok. Shut up time. Blehhhhhh.
Reached the house. Payal opened her presents. I banged Radit a couple more times, but couldn’t do much damage coz he was still my ride home, and uhh, he was sitting next to me. Sparsely banged Aimann too. Hehehe. Don’t worry Radit, I wouldn’t spill the beans on the whole sms episode thingy. Ahahahahaha. I know, I know. Shut up time.
Had chocolate cake and Radit and me had to leave at 5pm because he had to meet a friend who was flying off to Japan at Ampang Park at 5.30pm. Gave a lift to Sara, Eka, Aishath and uhh..shit..what’s that girl’s name? to Bangsar Shopping Centre. The ride home was more on the serious side, because I made it so ahahaha. If not, my mind would be churning all sorts of banging shit for Radit ahahahaha. Eesh, why am I so crack today? And now, I’m home. Nice time eh?
Seriously, the events looked much more interesting as it happened. I just had to cut it short. Yes..this is short!
